Ground Turkey is very low in fat, also low in taste! The ranch dressing is what adds back the flavor but not the saturated fats to this meat loaf. The corn bread stuffing and dressing combine to give mild creamy texture that a red-meat meat loaf just can’t match.
Ingredients:
2 LBS ground turkey
1 CUP Ranch Dressing
1 CUP Corn Bread Stuffing Mix
1/3 cup water
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375. Pulverize the stuffing in a bag with a rolling pin, or blender, or food processor. In a large bowl mix together the stuffing crumbs with the dressing and 1/3 cup of cold water. Set aside for 5 minutes.
Add the turkey to the stuffing mixture and combine thoroughly with your hands. Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Form into a loaf on a rimmed sheet pan or pres into a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour or until meat reaches 185 degrees.
Enjoy!
