CARE Award 2008 KyXy has long been known as the station that CARES about the community. In keeping with this philosophy, KyXy and Azusa Pacific University School of Nursing are recognizing San Diego County individuals who have made a career of caring for others...NURSES. Check out a gallery of our CARE Award Winners! At the end of each month (September-May), entries will be reviewed and a CARE Award recipient will be announced. That individual will be honored at the medical facility where they work with a commerative plaque and a $250 gift certificate to The Catamaran Spa so that they can let someone else take CARE of them for a day. As an added bonus for nominating a nursing professional, one person will be selected at random each month to also receive a $250 gift certificate to The Catamaran Spa! In June 2007 all CARE Award recipients will be assembled at a private reception at The Catamaran Resort & Spa in their honor (each recipient will be able to bring 3 guests) hosted by KyXy and Azusa Pacific University School of Nursing. The 9 monthly winners will be entered into a drawing for a Catamaran Resort & Spa grand prize package that includes a two-night stay in a Bay Side Suite, a "Day of Pamper" at the Spa and dinner for two in the award winning Atoll Restaurant over looking Mission Bay.
