Even if it's just for a short while, these twin baby moose (mooses?), accompanied by their mother, are playing and enjoying life around a sprinkler. I apologize for the song... :-)

Romance Restaurant Flirts With 99-cent tacos
So here's an interesting news story I found today about a fine dining restaurant in Orange County that recently reinvented itself as a more affordable place to eat.
Romance opened in San Clemente on Valentine's Day last year, promising live music and Latin cuisine. But the slow economy didn't show much love for the restaurant's upscale decor and menu. So owner Roberto Vergara and his wife, Cathy, recently closed the restaurant for a few weeks to figure out what to do. This Valentine's Day weekend, they pulled back the heavy red drapes on their front window and wrote "99-cent tacos" in bright green paint on the glass. Gone are the white tablecloths and $26 entree items – 99-cent tacos have taken their place!
"People flat out can't afford fine dining," Cathy Vergara said. "If you want to stick around, you've got to go with the flow. Then if it doesn't work, we can say we tried everything."

Dog stranded on ice floe melts sailors' hearts
A dog stranded on an ice floe was rescued by the crew of a research boat twenty miles off the coast of Poland. The crew snatched the exhausted mutt from the ice just before it sank into the Baltic Sea and fittingly he is being called Baltic while a search is launched for his owners. You’ve got to see the video of the rescue, he really is the cutest thing.
